Bitcoin Cash is a peer-to-peer electronic cash system that aims to provide fast payments, micro fees, privacy, and high transaction capacity. Bitcoin Cash was developed as a result of a split in the Bitcoin chain when a certain group of Bitcoin developers became dissatisfied with Bitcoin’s overall scalability direction. These developers were specifically dissatisfied over the implementation of Segregated Witness (SegWit). They believed SegWit  is a compromise to the decentralization of the Bitcoin network. As Bitcoin went on to implement SegWit, Bitcoin Cash was developed with a block size of 8 MB. As of today, this block size has increased to 32 MB to ensure that Bitcoin Cash could scale and be used as a global payments cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin Cash can be used as a better payment option as it processes transactions more quickly than the Bitcoin network. Since the block size is 32 MB as compared to Bitcoin’s 1 MB block, Bitcoin Cash network can handle more transactions per second while providing shorter wait times and lower transaction processing fees. Lastly, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash have a very high positive correlation, meaning, it is very likely that the price of both cryptocurrencies move in the same direction.
